Pope gets jumped at Christmas - 25/12/2009

From: The Beeb! A shaken Pope Benedict has said Christmas Eve Mass in St Peter's shortly after being knocked over by a spectator who jumped a barrier. She is awesome. The woman, said to be totally sane of mind, managed to grab him by his vestments near the neck area as a security guard tried to overwhelm her. Apparently he totally failed. The Vatican said she had also tried to jump at the Pope last year. She failed last year, won this time. Karma evens out. French Cardinal... Keep reading!

Potential Production - 17/11/2009

After quite a while of not updating this blog as often as I'd like, I have a bit of progression with one of my writing projects. Having been going to Hackney for almost three months now (how time flies), Laurent came up with the scary idea of actually making the first episode in order to use it as a pitching tool to look for funding from proper companies/people. It was my 22nd birthday yesterday and...I couldn't care less. Got woken up by my mum at 7 a.m. to go to her school office where I'm temping for a bit. Took one tired look at the pile of cards and thought "...Later, definitely later". I worked until 5 p.m., came back and felt totally drained of all energy. Too exhausted going for a meal with my mum and dad and definitely didn't want to have a drunken night out with my friends, especially considering I was temping again at the same time today.... Hackney Library show’n'tell - 05/09/2009

After getting a Facebook message a few weeks ago from an ex-coursemate, Laurent (who is now living in London for a while), asking to meet up sometime to share ideas, I got all excited about writing again. While I’ve been trying to write a web series for a while, I did that age-old trick of procrastinating for months - it’s easy when you have no-one to answer to. Soon after I got that message, I whittled down the first season from 24 roughly 10-page episodes to 13 roughly 15-page... Keep reading!
